MY LIFE (2025) is a raw, stylized punk-cinema short film created by James Robinson (Jdrums) and inspired by an unreleased 1990s song written by Eric Myers. The story follows a young punk artist as she fearlessly navigates the darker edges of the entertainment world -- the manipulation, the pressure to conform, the false promises, the dive bars, the underground clubs, and the predators who think they control her future. She faces it all with rage, rebellion, and defiance... but she never breaks. Scene by scene, she becomes stronger: walking out of exploitative clubs.. confronting the people trying to use her.. taking the stage in tiny overcrowded punk clubs.. claiming her identity and refusing to be owned.. rising up with her head high, fists up, and fire in her chest!
